This post is a bit of a mish mash of things!!
Things have been going really great around here... busy, but great. I am loving every minute of being a mom- Lily is so amazing and when I start to think about how happy she has made me it brings tears to my eyes. Every new thing she does amazes me and brings a huge smile to my face. She is perfect in every way!
Over the past few weeks she had a few firsts- she smiles now... not just gassy, she really smiles- and she smiles at me! I tear up almost every time! She follows things now, people, toys, lights! She knows how to get back to me if she is being held by other people- my little stinker pretends she needs to eat by rooting around, and then when she is back in my arms and I try to feed her she has no interest- if I pass her back to someone she does it again. DH fed her a bottle of BM I pumped and she polished it off, she then cried and rooted with him until I took her to let her nurse- but she had no interest in that... I know its not good to let her be a mommy suck- but it feels so good to have her want to be in my arms.
She has also started to sleep through the night!!! We feed her between 11 and 1, and she doesn't get up until between 5-7... to me that is the whole night!!! 5-6hrs of uninterupted sleep!! I feel so great during the day, we get so much more done!!
She has outgrown newborn diapers- she is in pampers size 1's now! We tried to switch to Huggies newborns after she outgrew the pampers ones because we heard they are a bit bigger, but we really hated them- they leaked and they were rough! The size 1's are a bit big, but they don't leak!!
She has started to outgrow clothes already... I have put away her preemie stuff and some of the newborn stuff too. I can't believe she is getting so big!! As of this morning she weighed in a 9lbs 8oz!!
This morning we went to the doctors because Lily has been spitting up a fair amount, projectile sometimes... it's reflux. The doctor said its nothing to worry too much about, just to keep an eye on it for now and we are to call her if the projectile increases or if she starts to loose or stop gaining weight. We are going back in 2 weeks for her 2 month appointment and shots, so we will weigh her again then! She doesn't think its anything big, she should outgrow it.
That's all for my mish mash post, Thanks for reading. Oh, and I added the followers gadget on the side of my blog- I would love to know who's reading and if you are reading and I don't already- I would love to follow your blog!!

I have dropped by to read your blog in awhile. It sounds like things with Lily are going fabulous!!! And how exciting that she's sleeping through the night already. That's awesome! I'm due in 5 weeks and have been praying so hard that God will give me a "sleeper". :- )
Lily is beautiful!!!
